What our partners say

Here we are is an inspiring partner of UNICEF who initiates a wonderful series of talk and events which can motivate and encourage many young people.

Our cooperation also engages solid technical assistance from the members of here we are, where they can contribute their professional skills in UNICEF Programs dedicated for children. Such cooperation includes the areas such as documenting the Program achievements in Early Childhood Development and Mapping of the non-traditional partners from Private Sector and newly emerging donor governments.”

Yukie Mokuo, UNICEF Representative, Kyrgyz Republic

“To be sent abroad for exciting new tasks and culture-enrichment is attractive to our staff. For family positions, it can be a challenge to motivate the partner, who usually is attentive to his/her own career too.

By using the possibilities of Here We Are,  accompanying professionals have a proper platform for seeking career enrichment during the deployment, in a meaningful way that tends to the individual member needs.

Here We Are can give a framework for self-driven professional development, so that the accompanying professional will end the deployment with an up-dated resume, increasing the opportunity for employment during and after assignment. This effort holds great value for us in retaining our staff; the deployed family will be able to balance the mutual career effects of an international “adventure”!”

Here We Are presents our organisation with opportunties to improve our work in Kyrgyzstan. As a small, locally registered organisation with limited resources we have struggled in the past to find people who can offer appropriate expertise in areas such as M & E, the development of research, and project development. I hope that through Here We Are we will be able to take advantage of the experience and understanding that already exists locally, but which we have not been aware of, in order to achieve our vision to improve the lives of people in the Kyrgyz Republic through integration, opportunity and community transformation.
